In the spirit of giving, we have set up a Christmas Turkey Drive with the Salvation Army through the church to donate turkeys to families in need. The salvation army needs about 220 turkeys. Here is how it is going to work:
1. Please print attached voucher BEFORE purchasing any turkeys. 1 voucher per turkey
2. Take voucher to The Real Canadian Superstore on 4th Ave ( no other store as we are set up with RCSS only for this)
3. Buy a turkey (8-10lbs) and present the voucher to the cashier at the time of purchase.
4. The cashier will then give you a receipt for what you bought and will take the turkey(s) and store it in their in store freezer
5. The deadline for this event is December 16, 2016
On December 19, 2016 the youth of the church will work together to pick up all turkeys purchased from the RCSS and drop them off to the Salvation Army.
