In Christ

When our Lord Jesus Christ was incarnate taking our full humanity without sin, we became in Him, and we became by and for Him, presenting us to God His Father without blemish because we have become His own body and called us His church” And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all” ( Ephesians 1:22-23). Our teacher, Saint Paul the apostle describes this church, which is the body of Christ as ” a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish” ( Ephesians 5:27). Therefore the incarnation of the Lord was not only to forgive our sins, but moreover to make us a new creation, accepted in front of God the Father that” If He puts no trust in His servants, If He charges His angels with error” ( Job 4:18), also” If God puts no trust in His saints, And the heavens are not pure in His sight” ( Job 15:15).

Come, O beloved of the Lord, let us see the glory which we have received through the incarnation of Christ:

+We all became one in Him, and with Him” so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another” ( Romans 12:5).

+All what is God’s became a source of pride for us before all creatures” Therefore I have reason to glory in Christ Jesus in the things which pertain to God” ( Romans 15:17).

+We became saints because of the Holy Christ” To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours” ( 1 Corinthians 1:2). Also that God the Father chose us and accepted us in Christ as saints” just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love” ( Ephesians 1:4).

+We take wisdom from Him because He is the Logos, the Word of God and the wisdom of God” We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored! ( 1 Corinthians 4:10).

+Through Him we shall live, and forever, even if our earthly bodies die” For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive” ( 1 Corinthians 15:22).

+God the Father leads us in Christ to overcome the world, the devil, the body, death, time and place” Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place” ( 2 Corinthians 2:14).

+In Christ we are a new creation, not from dust, but from above” Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” ( 2 Corinthians 5:17).

+In Christ, we were offered reconciliation and acceptable from God” that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation” ( 2 Corinthians 5:19).

+Also we have become blessed by God, attributed to His blessings, this is what Saint Paul says” Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” ( Ephesians 1:3).

+In Christ we are always with Him wherever He is, simply because we are in Him” and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” ( Ephesians 2:6).

+And through Him we receive God’s grace, tenderness, kindness and mercy” that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus” ( Ephesians 2:7).

+In Christ we can do anything, we have seen the apostles, although being illiterate, fascinated the world with the teachings of the Bible, their miracles and the casting away of demons in the name of the Lord Jesus” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” ( Philippians 4:13).

+Do you know my dear reader that you have been in Christ since eternity, and that the ways for salvation and grace were present in front of the Holy Trinity before the foundation of the world, being revealed to us in the fullness of time through the Incarnation?!” … who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began” ( 2 Timothy 1:9). We are glorifies in Christ because we suffer with Him” But may the God of all grace, who called us[b] to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you” ( 1 Peter 5:10).

How great is the mystery of incarnation that contained eternity and contained us in Christ Jesus, to give us His grace and love of the Father and the communion of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
